A smart home seller knows it takes more than just a great floor plan and the right location to sell a home. That’s because today’s buyers are not just buying a home, they’re buying a lifestyle.
Buyers will form a quick opinion of your home, so it is necessary to prepare your home accordingly before every showing and/or open house.
Staging Solutions will make sure your home is looking its best. By updating furniture, removing your personal belongings, and applying minor sprucings as needed, your home will appeal to many more prospective buyers. And the proof is in the numbers—staged homes sell in 1/3 of the time that non-staged homes do.
We believe that every space has potential. Often, a space simply needs a quick coat of paint or a strategically hung painting to completely alter the narrative a buyer forms of it. With our services, we give you the ability to control that narrative. Hire Staging Solutions and sell your home today!

October 22, 2014: Homicide detectives are inves-
tigating the fatal shooting of a male victim in the
3500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in the city’s
Gravois Park neighborhood, police officials said.
Police responded to the shooting at 4:53 p.m. and
the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Back alleys and trash cans are full
of old, wooden doors and remnants
waiting to be put back into action.
We found this door and wooden box
in the 3500 block of Pennsylvania
Avenue. Salvaged wood can be used
in a multitude of ways to create
cheap, neutral furniture to fill a
home. Here we’ve cut down the
found wood, and assembled the
pieces into two, simple chairs.

Tarron Selfe, 19, of the 2800 block of Miami Street,
died after being shot late Tuesday, police said.
Police said Selfe and his girlfriend were in the same
block where he lived at 10 p.m. Tuesday when they
were approached by two people. One of those peo-
ple pulled a gun and opened fire, striking Selfe in
the head. The gunman then walked up to Selfe and
shot him several more times before fleeing into a
nearby ally. Selfe had wounds to his head, chest and
legs, police said. He died at a hospital about 3 p.m.
Wednesday, police said.
Bed frames are always a nice find.
These ones found on the 2800 block
of Miami Street had thin posts,
which we decided to feature by
converting the frames into a coffee
table. The wood had some unsightly
defects, so a coat of paint and a
fabric covering helped it blend
seamlessly with our other furniture.

Police have identified a man shot to death in the
Tower Grove East neighborhood Wednesday as
Brandon Treadwell, 19, of St. Louis.Treadwell
was found wounded about 12:15 p.m. in a lot in
the 3100 block of South Compton Avenue near
Roosevelt High School. He died at a hospital.
We found this piece tucked
away in the 3100 block of
South Compton Avenue near
Roosevelt High School.
It had obvious bug damage
in some areas, so we only
used a few of the planks of
the piece to construct a slim,
table perfect for a foyer.

A man came home Monday afternoon to find his
roommate stabbed to death on the floor of their
home in the 2300 block of Russell Boulevard.
Police identified the man as James Mattingly, 33.
The roommate told police he came home just after 4
p.m. Monday and found the man unconscious on the
floor. The man had been stabbed in the back, neck
and head. He also had a cut on his face. He died at
the scene.Police have no suspects in the case.
We found this log in the
2300 block of Russell
Boulevard. The log was in
good shape, so a quick sand
was all it needed to become
a side table for our lounging
area. The wood scraps left
over after sanding were
bundled together to give
this minimalist space
some texture.

A St. Louis College of Pharmacy student was fatally
shot during a backyard party at a south St. Louis
house early Saturday. Nicholas Kapusniak, 20, of
Waukesha, Wis., was shot shortly before 1 a.m. in
the 2700 block of Accomac Street. He was pro-
nounced dead at the scene. Police said Kapusniak
was standing with a group of friends in the backyard
when someone in a light-colored sedan traveling
east in the south alley fired gunshots Kapusniak
was hit in the left side of his back. He was carried
inside the residence, where he was pronounced
dead.
Although home staging usually involves paring
away decoration, some thoughtful accessories
can give a space character and interest. Scavenging
for organic materials in your neighborhood
can yield some fruitful, accent pieces. We found
a rock and some tree clippings in the 2700 block
of Accomac Street, and then arranged them
throughout our space.
