Venue Location:

The weather in Brisbane, Australia for September is a typical balmy 24C (75F) during the day followed by pleasant evening temperature and creates ideal conditions for competition.

The race track is located approximately 24 minutes (24klm) from Brisbane International/Domestic Airport. Coach supplied for International and Interstate competitors at a discounted cost versus traditional rental car or Taxi hire.

We have three sector loops in the track so that sector times will be displayed for each of the three(3) sectors and two (2) additional loops are installed at the entrance and exit of Pit Lane so that Pit Stop times can also be shown.

Special Note:

The facility will have up to twelve 6M X 3M (19ft. X 10ft) air conditioned portable secure buildings on site for use by Race Officials, Teams and anyone wishing to rent them for the event. One is dedicated for IFMAR official use.

Note:Any competitor who has not attended the track in the preceding twelve (12) months will be eligible to practice on the IPD days as set out above, in accordance with the current IFMAR rules.

Frequencies:

2.4 GHz : All DSS and Spectrum systems. Anyone wishing to use “other” frequencies will need to contact our organiser for approval prior to arrival at the track.

Concourse d’Elegance:

After the drivers parade all cars competing for Concourse d’Elegance will be presented for inspection and judging.

Transport:

A Coach with luggage trailer with driver will be available for the duration of the event. This will include Airport to accommodation including return journey and daily commute to the race track for a fixed fee to ease travel daily to the race track.

Those wishing to use a rental car will be able to contact numerous rental car companies with a comprehensive list and rates published on the website TBA.

Identity Badges:

Photo ID badges with lanyards will be issued to ALL persons wanting access to the facility and these must be worn at all times when inside the facility perimeter.

Fuel Supply:

Currently we have commitments for the supply of bulk premix of Runner Time and Maxima Fuels as the official fuel suppliers for the 2020 IFMAR SpeedyRC 1:10 World Championship

Australian Voltages:

Please take note of the examples below:

Australia uses 240VAC (nominal) at 50Hz. Please see photos for outlet/plug configuration. We will have a fully Licenced Electrician on site at all times to assist with any last minute assistance required.

We have AC supply to all pit areas providing close proximity to each designated pit area. Our on-site Licenced Electrician will be available at all times to assist those in need.

First Aid:

A minimum of 3 qualified First Aid Certificate holders will be in attendance during the entireevent.

Security:

The local Police have been advised of the event and we will be liaising with them at regular intervals to keep them appraised of the event details moving forward.

QRCCRA take this opportunity to welcome all International, Interstate and Local competitors competing in the IFMAR 2020 IC 1:10 World Championships. We are excited to be once again hosting the world championships and hope all who come to our great citywill be able to avail themselves of the many, many unique attractions to be found here in Brisbane, the sister cities The Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

From Beaches, to Skydiving, Restaurants and Entertainment venues right around the greater Brisbane area.
