Open all packages and identify all parts before beginning assembly. Place one Shelf upside down on a level surface. Insert four Feet into round holes in corners of Shelf. Turn Shelf right side up. Step 2. Push the narrower ends of the four Legs into the round holes in the corners of the Shelf until they are fully seated in the Feet. Do not add the top shelf yet. Step 3. Affix Light Fixture Clips to Light Brackets (Figure 2). Place a Small Nut into the hex-shaped hole in the Light Bracket. Flip the Light Bracket over and place a Light Fixture Clip over the hole with the "prongs" facing out and oriented as shown. Insert a Bolt and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Step 4. Insert a Large Nut into the slot on the side of the Light Bracket (Figure 2). Push the Large Nut all the way to the bottom of the slot. Twist a Knob into the hole, catching the Large Nut. Do not tighten until Step 5. Step 5. Note: The assembled Light Brackets have a Knob on either the left or right side. With the metal Light Fixture Clips facing down and the Knobs oriented to the outside of the unit, slide one Light Bracket onto each Leg, as shown in Figure 3. Adjust the Light Brackets until they are level with each other, then lightly tighten the knobs. Tip: Position each Light Bracket just above a ridge on the Leg to make leveling easy. Step 6. Place the top Shelf, right side up, onto the Legs. Insert a Corner Cap into each hole in the corners of the top Shelf. Step 7. Remove bulbs from the Light Fixtures to avoid breakage during assembly. Twist the bulb gently until the pins at either end of the bulb can pop out of the fixture. Examine the ends of the Light Fixtures and note that one end is male and the other female. Important: Install the two Light Fixtures so that both female ends are at the same end of the unit. Step 8. Snap the Light Fixtures into the Light Brackets. Tip: Place your thumb on top of the Light Bracket and press down as you rock and snap the Light Fixture up into the into brackets. Step 9. Insert the ends of the Light Cord into the open, oval ends of the Light Fixtures. Reinstall the bulbs. Please see other side for Adding a Starter Grow Light Add-On Unit instructions. Adding a Stack-n-Grow Light Add-On UnitStack the space-saving Stack-n-Grow Light System up to four high! Each add-on unit comes with two Wall Brackets (Figure 4) to

anchor it to the wall. Important: For stability, anchor all systems stacked more than two levels high. Important: Prevent water from dripping from upper shelves onto light fixtures. See Tips for Using the Stack-n-Grow Light System, below.

Parts Included1 Shelf 4 Light Brackets (2 Left, 2 Right)4 Legs 4 Light Fixture Clips2 Light Fixtures 2 Wall Brackets1 Light Cord

Step 1. Remove the Corner Caps from the corners of the top Shelf of an assembled base unit. Insert the narrow ends of the four Legs into the holes in the top Shelf.

Step 2. Follow Steps 3 through 8 (other side).

Step 3. For systems with more than one Add-On Unit, secure the system to a wall. Place the two Wall Brackets (Figure 4) around the two Legs closest to the wall, either at the top or bottom of the Legs. Attach the Wall Brackets to the wall using screws (not included) that are suitable for your wall configuration.

Tips for Using the Stack-n-Grow Light System• Caution: Prevent water from dripping from upper shelves onto the light fixtures below by using our Small Boot Trays (32-709), drip

trays or saucers on each shelf. Exposure to water may damage the light fixture and cause electrical shock.• Adjust the height of the lights to within a few inches of the plant tops for strongest growth. • Add a light timer to automatically turn lights on and off. Most plants grow best with 12 to 14 hours of light daily.• Lift the assembled system by supporting the bottom shelf. • Each shelf is rated to hold up to 110 pounds.
