A classic dilemma out of utility companies control is extension of power line, load variations and huge demand of consumers lead to important of load fluctuations, hence transformed into continuous voltage variation.Fluctuations voltage can cause serious problem to automatic machines i.e. defective end product, inaccurate positioning (radar system), blur images, irregular functions, unpredictable readings, incorrect motor speed,etc.

Due to its contruction’s simplicity (one variable transformer, one booster transformer(*) and one electronic control), reliability and efficiency are two of its best features, offering a stability and profittability difficult to achieve without the protection of a VOLMATIC VT Series AC servo-motor Vol tage Stabi l izer. Interconnected between the mains and load assures a correct performance, reduces maintenance costs and improves production.

The VT Series AC Servo-motor Voltage Stabilizer employs a motor driven (*)variable transformer feeding the primary winding, to a booster transformer .
Its secondary is connected in series between the supply and the load in order to add or subtract the necessary voltage into the supply line. The solid state Electronic Circuit detector consisting of a differential amplifier continuously monitoring the output voltage, compares it with a fixed reference and the difference is amplified and converted into frequency proportional to the voltage applied to the step motor drive of the variable transformer.
If the stabilized output voltage fluctuates from the set value due to either supply voltage variations or change in the load current, the electronic control energizes the servo system to rotate the variable transformer brush gear until the correct voltage is restored. This method of stabilizations produces no interference or harmonics and, subsequently,doesn’t reflect distortions into the incoming mains supply. The action of the servo drive system is extremely fast and by the use controlled decelerations we have almost elimated overshoot. VOLMATIC is consent that a voltage stabilizer has to solve problems, not to create new ones!.
