This amount is slight-ly less than two times the regular weekend offertory. Please be as generous as you can in the second collection being taken the weekend of September 15 and 16. WE PRAY THE ROSARY FOR WORLD PEACE. The Rosary is recited every Wednesday at 4:30PM prior to the 5PM Mass. Please join us. Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us. ………………………………………………………………….. SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH IS CATECHETICAL SUN-DAY. The children, their parents and their teachers will be blessed by Fr. Alex at the 9AM. Mass. A special breakfast will be served by the older children and their parents in the Sister Terry Fellowship Hall after the 9AM Mass. All are welcome to taste homemade tortillas, bacon, eggs, sausages, grits, pancakes and syrup, coffee, tea, orange juice and enjoy the children and the families who will be participating in the Youth Faith For-mation classes this year. No tickets will be sold, but a basket for donations to the Youth Faith Formation Program will be placed in the fellowship hall. Please come, be generous and enjoy the food and company of other parishioners for breakfast. ……………………………………………………………….. DO YOU HAVE GENTLY USED TREASURES YOU NO LONGER NEED OR WANT? Give them a “second chance” at life and consider donating them to our Second Chance Treas-ures Sale taking place in June, 2019. CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION grades 1-6 and Con-firmation resume Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Classes run from 6:00-7:30PM in the Seiglie Center. Registration will take place Sept. 19th from 5:30-6:00PM before regular classes begin. Only first graders and new students to the pro-gram need to complete a full registration form. All other stu-dents need to have their information verified by a parent. Veri-fication and registration will take place on the Sieglie Center porch.
