Stewards are not Troubled
“…do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” (John
14:27)
Our limited human understanding cannot begin to under-stand the immense power of God. Instead of trusting in God, we think we can control every outcome. Do you
want to make God laugh? Tell Him your plans. The next time worry, anxiety or fear creeps in, thank God for the opportunity to live Stewardship and trust that He has a
better plan for you.

Night at the Races
From the St. Thomas staff and the
Social Events Committee, all we can
say is "THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!
THANK YOU!! The night was a "TREMENDOUS" suc-
cess; we had a great crowd; well over a hundred!
To all workers, which were many, this would not have
happened if it was not for the time and effort you have
given. Each one of you were the "hands of God" show-
ing our guests the true meaning of
our faith to serve one another.
Everyone have a "Blessed Week"
and we hope to see you all at the
Chicken BBQ meeting!
The Women's Club
A caring community of Christian Women within our Church
Our club members were again generous with their donations to Princess, Inc. They also enjoyed a tour and
luncheon at the Atlantic Cape Community College’s Culinary Art Institute’s Careme’s Restaurant, and topped
this off with a fabulous tea party. All of this in the first week of May! We will be relaxing and enjoying a
communal birthday party at our June meeting. Why not join our vibrant group and see how much fun you can
have with us. Our June meeting will be held on Wednesday June 5th,
2019 at 7 pm in St. Philip Hall.
Knights of Columbus
Roses for Life June 8-9th
The Knights of Columbus will be
handing out Roses for Life stickers
after every Mass.
Show your support for life by
wearing this lapel sticker. Your
donations will be greatly
appreciated and will be used to
support pro-life activities.
Hospitality Sunday Helpers
Mother’s Day was the last Hospitality Sunday for the
season and we thank all who graciously gave up their
Sunday mornings to serve the doughnuts and coffee and
clean up the Hall after the last cup of coffee was poured.
Many thanks also to the members of the Nursing Ministry
who also showed up each month to provide blood
pressure check-ups to our parishioners.
St. Thomas is grateful for the support you all have shown
and we look forward to seeing you again in the Fall when
Hospitality Sundays resume.
May God Bless all of you abundantly!
