Dear Parishioners, John acknowledges Jesus as the Lamb of God. This important title is one that represents Jesus and the sacrificial Lamb who is led to slaughter. This image is one that the Jewish people of Jesus’ time would recognize from their worship in the Temple. According to Jewish law, the blood of the lamb would make reparation for sins. In the New Testament, the blood of Jesus, frees us from our sinfulness and gives us the opportunity for eternal life. Fr. Brandt
When he was dying on the Cross, Jesus said: “I thirst.” Jesus is thirsting for our love, and this is the thirst of everyone, poor and rich alike. We all thirst for the love of others, that they go out of their way to avoid harming us and do good to us. This is the meaning of true love, to give until it hurts. Mother Teresa

MOTHER TERESA’S HELPING HANDS Thank you to Father Brandt for his support of this program and to the parishioners, Education Center, Child Care, and P.R.E.P. families for your generous donations to the food drive and the giving program. A special "Thank You" to all the volunteers who helped sort the food and pack boxes for Thanksgiving/Christmas and who helped sort the gifts. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for their generous monetary donation as well as turkeys for both holidays and the WINGS group for their generous monetary donation. Thank you to families and companies who "adopted a family" for the holiday. Thank you to the parish office staff for their assistance with this program. Because of your thoughtfulness many families were helped during the holiday season. May the peace and love of the baby Jesus be with you all during the New Year! Blessings, The Delaney Family
Below are some personal "Thank You" from the families.
"Please let everyone behind the scenes know a very heart felt "thanks" from us. The gifts, the food, the cards were so appreciated. The kids loved everything they got."
"A million thank yous is not enough to express the gratitude I have for all you do. I am blessed to have you in my life as well as a generous and loving church community."
"Thank you again for making this a very special holiday for me and the kids and with moving especially. I couldn't ask for anything more, definitely helped out tremendously!"
