Central Arts District www.sixhundredblock.com Promotes the arts from 4th Street to 16th Street along Central Avenue and surrounding area. Central Avenue’s 600 Block, including the historic Crislip Arcade, offers fine art galleries, boutiques, eateries, recording studio, performance venues, watering holes, graphic design and branding center. Deuces Live District Adjacent to the Warehouse Arts District, Stops include Gallerie 909, the Uniquely Original Arts Gallery, the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, and the Manhattan Casino. The district also features a 19-marker African American Heritage Trail honoring St. Petersburg’s notable African American residents.

M.L. King North District From Fifth Ave. NE to 34th Ave. N., this growing district includes the Bloom Arts Center and the Heart Gallery, along with a variety of locally-owned cafes including the Banyan Tree, where artists and writers rub shoulders.

Two Artist Enclaves

Historic Kenwood kenwoodartistenclave.org An Artist Enclave is a St. Petersburg city zoning "overlay" designation (2014) that enables artists to have home-based studios in specified areas of historic neighborhoods. An Artist is defined by the Enclave as an individual who practices and/or who creates a product in one of the following categories: Fine Art, Craft Art, Design, Photography, Filmmaking, Musical, Literary or Performing Arts. Old Southeast More than 80 artists live in the Old Southeast neighborhood, located south of the city’s downtown. 40% of artists work in professional studios and galleries. 60% work in a home studio.
