Welcome to the 13th season of Frankly Music! Even as we relish the artistic highlights from last year, we look forward to a wide variety of exciting programming coming up. We again invite you to enjoy our artistic mission of providing outstanding chamber music in our unique format, combining exceptional performances with educational and social elements.
Our series at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will feature some favorite (and familiar) FM performers along with new faces MICHAEL KLOTZ (Amernet Quartet) and the spectacular guitarist RENÉ IZQUIERDO. These two concerts will explore everything from Haydn to the Viennese composer Max Reger, with detours into Paganini and Piazzolla.
We continue our series at Wisconsin Lutheran College, starting with a wide variety of chamber music for winds and strings, featuring some of the outstanding MUSICIANS FROM THE MILWAUKEE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. For our fi nal concert we feature an all-Czech program with the incredible virtuosos ADAM NEIMAN on piano, and ROBERT DEMAINE, Principal Cello of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
We will also continue our very successful FRANKLY MUSIC FRIENDS program, a membership model that both supports the series and offers the fl exibility of special discounts for any concert and merchandise at any venue, even if we add a special event. Plus it offers exclusive post-concert audio streaming, in case you’d like to hear something again. Become a Frankly Music Friend today!.
Join us for these unique events- hear an amazing performance in intimate settings, stay for a small reception afterwards with your friends and the musicians (always included in your ticket price), and see for yourself why this series continues its international reputation for excellence and innovation.
I look forward to seeing you at all of our events this season! P.O. B
