SIMPLE BUT POWERFUL PRAYERS
In my opinion, all persons of faith, immaterial of their religions want to pray but find it hard to pray in a satis-fying way. What I find very helpful to me is to pray with saints and spiritual persons using their own prayers. The following prayers are some of them and I pray these prayers every single day. Some of them many times in a day. I hope you will find them as helpful as they are to me. My past, O Lord, to Your mercy; my present, to Your love; my future to Your providence, PADRE PIO
O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! FATHER DON DOLINDO RUOTOLO
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O Good Jesus, hear me. Within your wounds hide me. Separated from you, let me never be. From the evil one, protect me. At the hour of my death, call me and bid me close to you That with your saints I may praise you For ever and ever. Amen. ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA
O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.
O Saint Joseph, assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son Jesus Christ, Our Lord; all spiritual blessings, so that having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to you the most loving of Fa-thers.
O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. Amen NINE-DAYS NOVENA TO ST. JOSEPH
Wishing you all the very best for a safe and
sound Spiritual Journey! S. Arul Amalraj, O. Praem

will receive prayer cards of two different Saints, giving a brief de-scription of their lives and a prayer to that particular Saint.
For the month of July, St. John Vianney (feast day August 4) and St.
Clare of Assisi (feast day August 11) will be our role models and
inspiration to assist us to be “Saints in the making”.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Is there a non-Catholic you know who has
expressed interest in our faith and becoming a

by telling them of our parish’s RCIA process, which offers
catechesis and faith formation in preparation for the
Sacraments and initiation into the Catholic Church. Sister
Eileen will be happy to give further information and answer
any questions about the RCIA. You can contact her at

ARE YOU CALLED TO BE A TEACHER OF THE FAITH?
Our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP), formerly known as C.C.D., provides religious education and faith formation to our elementary age parishioners who attend non-
Catholic schools. Our PREP classes provide this education to approximately 375 St. Patrick’s parish children. We are always looking for new
catechists and aides, mostly on Monday and Tuesday after-noons (4:45- 6:00) and Tuesday evenings (6:30-7:45). We meet from September to early May. Would you consider joining with us in this very rewarding parish ministry? Each catechist follows the Archdiocesan religion curriculum and has a detailed teacher’s manual. We provide training and support for new catechists. You do not need to be a profes-sional teacher for this volunteer position. College students and those considering a teaching career are welcome.
Please consider being a teacher of the faith this year and reap the rewards of passing on the faith to a new generation of Catholics! If interested please contact Sr. Eileen at 610-296-8899 or [email protected].
Thank you and please pray for our parish children!
