Bible Study

The Gospel According to Luke! A study of this third Gospel in the New Testament shows great sensitivity to historical data, literary technique, and theological development. Luke’s colorful descriptions of the birth announcement of Jesus, the manger, shepherds, angels, Good Samaritan, Prodigal Son, the Last Words from the Cross, and the Resurrection appearance on the road to Emmaus, show the compassionate and gentle Jesus! Classes are every Thursday in St. Mary School Library from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 and includes a short video commentary on the specific text and discussion of answers to questions from the study guide. Everyone is welcome to join. Questions call Sister Judith at 609-420-4683.
