ROBINWOOD 2017
Y6 scaled the heights, took on the Dungeon of
Doom and the Piranha Pool, and generally had
a great time on their residential visit to the
Robinwood Activity Centre in Todmorden.
Fun with Nature!
Y1/2 braved the rain and enjoyed a visit to The Yorkshire Arboretum, Y3/4 tried pond-dipping at Fairburn Ings,
and Reception had their own wildlife encounters at the Skylark Nature Reserve.
With the help of Chartwells, our Y6 chefs prepared
and served a delicious Afternoon Tea as an end-of-
year treat for their parents.
Mini-Olympics
All the children took part in our
annual celebration of sport,
competing in a range of athletic
activities.
At the end of an extremely busy term, here’s a final round-up of some recent high-
lights, plus details of the last few days and some items in preparation for next term:

FOSOSF Barbecue
Thank you to everyone who came to the BBQ on
Friday night. A total of £1320 was raised, which
will help to support a range of projects and activi-
ties for all pupils in school. Special thanks to
FOSOSF and all the volunteers who worked hard
to make this event such a success.
Is your child leaving at
the end of term?
If your child will be leaving St
Oswald’s at the end of term, it is
very important that you have
confirmed this with the school
office.
Please also ensure that any out-
standing debts have been set-
tled before the end of term.
Thank you.
