PREPARING FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

Ascension Thursday is Thursday, May 21. Jesus ascends to heaven to prepare a place for us, to sit at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us, and to send us His Holy Spirit who completes the work of salvation in us. We celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Church on Pentecost Sunday. PARISH NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT Let us prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit by praying a novena to the Holy Spirit as a parish family. The novena will begin on Friday, May 22, and will be available through email, parish website, and Facebook. PARISH HOLY HOUR BEFORE PENTECOST Then, let’s pray together at a parish Eucharistic holy hour on Thursday, May 28, 7:00 P.M., in the gym for the Holy Spirit to come down upon St. Michael parish .

Come, Holy Spirit, come!
