Volunteers are needed to greet/open doors, seat parishioners, usher throughout the mass, and clean after each mass. Volunteers should be under 60 years old and have no pre-existing health conditions. If you are interested in helping please contact the parish office or Brooke at 920.362.5977 or [email protected]

Father’s Corner Dear loving parishioners, Love and Peace of Christ! Happy Father’s Day to all who are fathers or grandfathers or stepfathers. Five weeks ago we observed Mother’s Day and offered Mass for our moms. Today, on this Father's Day, we are doing the same, offering our dads – living or dead – on the altar of God during this Holy Mass, invoking our heavenly Father’s blessings on them so that they may be remembered as loving, caring and disciplining, always available and willing to do for their children whatever is needed to help them. The observance most similar to our Father's Day was the ancient Roman Parentalia, an annual family reunion to remember the departed parents and kinsfolk. Father’s Day is a day to remember, acknowledge and appreciate the "World's Greatest Dad," OUR HEAVENLY FATHER (Rom. 8:15, Gal. 4:6) who is our spiritual Daddy, actively involved in all areas of our lives. It is He on Whom we lean in times of pain and hurt. It is He on Whom we call in times of need. It is He Who provides for us in all ways --practical, emotional, and spiritual. Let us pray the Our Father during this Holy Mass, realizing the meaning of each clause and experiencing the love of our Heavenly Father. Let the earthly fathers draw strength from their Heavenly Father. On this Father’s Day please don’t forget to pray for us, pastors - your spiritual Fathers, men who are called to be Fathers to an immensely large parish family through the sacrament of Holy Orders. Happy Father’s Day! Fr. Peter

Father’s Day Blessing God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all things. Bless these men, that they may be strengthened as Christian fathers. Let the example of their faith and love shine forth. Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer for the Consecration of the Family Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I come to you to consecrate myself and my entire family to Your Two Hearts. I desire to renew the vows of my baptism and place each member of my family through an act of faith, Hope and love into loving union with the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I dedicate myself and each member of My family to the Guardian Angels God has given each one of us. O Holy Guardian Angels, enlighten, guide And protect each one so as to lead us safely home to heaven. At Fatima, dear Mother of God, you appeared with St. Joseph and the Child Jesus blessing the world. O Holy Family, Bestow blessings upon me and my entire family so that we may live the Christ-life. I desire that each member of my family adore always the Most Blessed Trinity and love our God in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Grant peace to each member of my family. Keep each one in the grace of Jesus Christ. Never permit any of my family To stray from the true faith. For any member who has strayed, I beseech you to bind up the wounds, lift up the fallen, and keep each of our loved ones in grace. Bid them come back to their Father’s true home. Amen.

What’s Happening in Your Neighborhood?

TALK…LISTEN…PRAY

Do you need someone to talk to? Do you need someone to listen to you? Do you need someone to pray with? During and after the current pandemic crisis, it is important to maintain and nurture a feeling of community and a sense of connection. One of the simplest ways is to continue having conversations with those who welcome you into their hearts. In addition to family, friends and your parish, Father Dennis Lynch and Sandy Setterlund (bother certified spiritual directors) are available to talk, listen and pray with you. (Father Dennis Lynch: 715-630-9120; Sandy Setterlund: 715-323-0234)
