The Catholic Daughters of America Have placed a single Red Rose at the ambo During October– Respect Life Month. The Rose has become internationality recognized as the symbol to respect the sanctity of life, thereby saving the lives of the unborn, the sick, and the elderly, and reducing the physical and spiritual fall-out to those who refuse to respect God’s precious gift of life. Please join us at 6:30 p.m., Tuesdays during the month of October, in the Holy Family Prayer garden as we pray the rosary in honor of Respect Life month. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,”

    Lecturas para el próximo domingo

Stewardship Reflection / Reflexión Sobre Las Lecturas

29th Sunday in Ordinary Time: October 20 That we may be per-sistent in our stewardship, even when it is not convenient or com-fortable. “…proclaim the word, be persistent whether it is con-venient or inconvenient...” 2 Timothy 4:2 It is not always con-venient to be a good steward, especially when all the temptations of our busy and materialistic world get in the way. Now add our own pride and ego into the equation and living a stewardship lifestyle may be downright uncomfortable! Remember, God did-n’t call us to be comfortable. He called us to be faithful.
