NOVEMBER THE MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS
O death! You separate those who are joined to each other in marriage. You harshly and cruelly divide those whom friendship unites. But your power is broken. Your heinous yoke has been destroyed by the One who sternly threatened you when Hosea cried out: O Death! I shall be your death. And with the words of the Apostle we, too, deride you: O death! Where is your victory? O death! Where is your sting! St. Braulio
Our books of remembrance will be in the sanctuary all month. Let us not forget to pray daily for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and ask for the help of their prayers.

SVdP COAT DRIVE
THANK YOU to all who contributed to our Coat Drive. It was a GREAT success! We provided 89 families with approximately 171 adult coats. We gave away children’s coats to 66 families (1-4 coats/family). Coat vouchers were issued to 10 families (for children whose sizes we did not have).
None of this could have been accomplished without the combined efforts of volunteers from SVdP (including the Baby Closet), Knights of Columbus, Thrift Store and the Food Pantry. GO TEAM!

Please join Deacon Mike Strain as he continues his discussion on the Book of Revelation.

I SPY…
Something in the church that holds holy water. We dip our fingers in it and bless ourselves making the sign of the cross as we enter the church. This is to remind us of our baptism, Christ’s passion, and the Holy Trinity.
What is it and where do you find it? Let Mrs. Warren know and win a prize.
Peace of Christ, Joanne Warren
Saint Charles Borromeo: The Good Shepherd
As the Cardinal-nephew of Pope Pius IV, Saint Charles Borromeo was one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in all of Rome. Yet he chose the extraordinary challenge of reforming the enormous
Archdiocese of Milan and willingly spent himself in the service of his flock. His Feast Day is November 4
