This is a very interesting and varied collection of 16 cent. and 17 cent. tombstones in this graveyard, some inscribed, some not. Many of the coffin shaped slabs have well designed wheel crosses. The instruments of the passion are on the side of the Altar tombs, they also appear on an upright 18 cent. tomb No 21. Lettering is generally fairly clear except the horizantal slabs particularly those of the 19 Cent. Slab 117 in the nave of the ruined church is probably the bottom half of slab 146 inside roofed Church both have the same unusual broad incised letters.
The tomb of the parents of Edmond Ignatius Rice No 66 is so worn that its impossible to read.
