As always, I will need teachers for the program. If volunteering to teach or co-teach is something you think you might enjoy or feel called to do, please let Cathy Bowes know. It is a wonder-ful way to grow in faith, serve the parish, and touch the lives of young people. What has worked well in the past, is to co-teach with another adult, this can lessen the !me commitment for both volunteers. Parents or grandparents who volunteer as teachers will receive free tui!on for one child.

On Sunday, September 16th at 9:00AM, Fr. Mark will celebrate Mass for the parish children and their families enrolled in the pro-gram.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our Catholic faith by coming together with our parish family as the children from grades 1-8 begin a new year learning about their faith.
Back to School Blessing
Dear Heavenly Father, For all the children returning to school, send your Holy Spirit as their guide and protector.
Keep them free from danger and unnecessary harm. Put our sons and daughters in the right place, at the right time, to receive your grace. Let them learn and grow strong. May the presence of your Spirit fill their hearts. Help us to mature as parents and caregivers.
Bless every family, oh Lord.
We entrust our children to you, dear God. Since from the beginning, they are yours to keep.
In the name of the greatest Son of all, Jesus Christ. Amen

Volunteer Appreciation Event 2018 Sunset Point Camp, Hull
August 23, 2018
We at St. Mary’s are blessed to have over 150 volunteers/ministers in our parish. To show our appreciation for their commitment of time and talent, the staff of St. Mary’s hosted a dinner for them at the Sunset Point Camp. It was a perfect night—the air was cool, the food was delicious and plentiful
and fellowship was abounding. Here are just a few pictures from the event taken by Bea Long and Rob Mortell. To see more, go to our Facebook page or website and watch the video.
