Resumption of Public Masses, May 18 (Monday)
1) Individuals 65 and over, as well as those of any age in
high risk categories should stay home! (“at-risk” health
conditions: high blood pressure, chronic lung disease,
diabetes, severe obesity, asthma, those whose immune
system is compromised such as by chemotherapy for
cancer and other conditions requiring such therapy.)
2) The faithful are “encouraged” to bring their own face-
masks and wear them inside the church. If you do not
have a facemask, you’ll be given one and then “always”
in the future bring that mask back with you.
3) Facemasks should be removed only for reception of
Holy Communion.
4) Depending on the layout of the church, parishioners
should be seated in every other pew. Avoid seating im-
mediately next to main aisle and/or the front cross aisle
to provide spacing during holy Communion procession.
5) Use of music should be limited to one cantor and one
musician.
6) Missalettes/hymnals should be removed. All pamphlets
and handouts should be removed.
7) Bulletins to be placed out after Mass to be taken home!
8) “Ushers” will pass the collection basket, drop your
donation into the basket without touching the basket.
9) There should not be any social gatherings inside or out-
side of the church before or after Mass.
10) Ministers of Communion “may” wear facemasks while
distributing if they prefer. Communion is to be given in
hands only.
11) Faithful are not obligated to receive Holy Communion,
they could make a “spiritual communion”, and then
receive at a later date when they are more comfortable.
12) Only one entrance to Church should be used.
13) After each Mass, the Church will be cleaned, sanitized
and disinfected.
14) Before Mass, use hand sanitizers as you enter! If possi-
ble, please bring your own bottles of hand sanitizer for
your own personal use.
Above all, please use common sense when coming to Mass.
May God Bless You. Bye-Bye, and Good Health to every-
one. (Fr. “Effie” Erbacher)

Act of Spiritual Communion
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my
soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at
least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself
wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
Amen.

Prayer of Pope Francis
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salva-
tion and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with stead-
fast faith.
You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of
Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine, Love,
To conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus
tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to
bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.
We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our pleas - we who are put to the test - and deliver
us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
