Year Six Year Six Children would like to share their reflections on LISTEN, ACT and SHARE through their prayers and poems.
Thank you for helping me listen to what others think and say. Thank you for sharing your love and trust with me. Thank you for making me think before I act and for being an honest and helpful person. Pateel Krikorian
Give us faithful ears to listen to your word, Give us tongues to share the word of God, Give us dedicated arms to act out the word of God And give us loving hearts to carry out your mission. Jonathon Horley
Listen-A part of listening to God at Mass listening to what others say, listening to teachers commands. Share- By sharing we listen, it is like when Jesus shared his meal with his disciples. Act-Acting the word of God is like saying “NEVER SEE A NEED WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.” Mariah Caraan
We listen to the word of God, to understand His every command. We share the word of God, to preach His every word. We act the word of God, to follow His every say. Krista Obmasca
Listen, and you will hear God speaking to you Through everyone’s voices Speaking of what is good and true.
Share, like Jesus did When he broke the bread Give what you can And do what Jesus said.
Act, the word of the lord Treat the people around you The way you would treat yourself Just think what would Jesus do To follow the path of God. Aryan Gupta
Year Four Liturgy
We would like to tell you all about Year Four’s fantastic liturgy!
The Liturgy took place on Thursday November 20th in the Year Four learning space. We started with a prayer, then we all sang a song called “Receive The Power”. After that, Victor, Antonia, Dib, Rahda, Theara and Priscilla brought up some symbols to the prayer table.
Our liturgy was followed by a Year Four picnic with our family and friends. Our parents brought food to share with the grade. Written and edited by Luke, Kiana, Caleb and Antonio.
Student Banking Last day for Student Banking will be Tuesday 2nd December 2014. Student Banking will recommence in week 3, 2015. No more tokens can be redeemed.

St Margaret Mary’s
Splash!
The students of St Margaret Mary’s
shine when it comes to swimming.
Last Tuesday, the 18th of
November selected children from
Years 2-5 attend an Invitational swimming
Carnival at Merrylands Pool. They
swam with excellent confidence and
speed. So many children who
participated on the day got a ribbon
and some of the fastest qualified for
the Cumberland Zone Swimming
Carnival next year. Thankyou so
much to all the lifeguards, who kept
us safe that day and all the teachers, Years 6 helpers and
parents who helped make the day run smoothly and a big
success. At the end of the day, everyone had fun and
everyone enjoyed themselves.
