him one hour. Even if you can’t find a whole hour, come and join fellow parishioners in prayer and meditation before the Holy Eucharist for as long as you are able.
HOLY COMMUNION TO THE ELDERLY

roster, please contact Mick Doak on 0427 006 159,

on approximately one Sunday a month. Thank you.
Parish Census – June 2019
Commencing next weekend our parish of St Luke’s will undertake its first parish census in a number of years.
The census process is quite straightforward and uncomplicated: Blank Census and Parish Database Information Update
forms will be:
available in a paper form from the church at each of the weekend masses during June 2019, and
downloadable from the parish website at www.stlukeswoodvale.org.au, and
e-mailed by St Luke’s Catholic Primary School to members of the school community.
Census forms are to be completed by hand on the basis of one form per household, however additional forms may need to be attached (stapled) where the household exceeds 4 people.
Completed forms should be returned to the boxes in the foyer of the church labelled Completed Census Forms; alternatively, you may hand deliver or post them to the Parish Office.
It is envisaged that most people will complete their cen-sus forms at home and return them the following week.
You are strongly encouraged to return your household’s completed census form as soon as possible.

SORRY DAY—26 MAY 2019
Sorry Day is part of the National Week to
celebrate the strength and resilience of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
people, and to reaffirm our shared
commitment to healing and
reconciliation. It is wonderful opportunity to reflect on the
journey of reconciliation and the contribution Aboriginal people
make to Australia and our Church. Reconciliation Week begins
on Monday 27th May and finishes on the 3rd of June. During
our weekend Masses here at St Luke’s Parish, you will notice us
celebrating the occasion by: an Acknowledgment of Country,
special mention in the Prayer of the Faithful and posters
displayed in the Parish. If you would like to learn more about
the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry here in Perth, visit
