"....giving thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light." Colossians 1:12
“Wait, when do I genuflect?”
With the tabernacle (the brass box where we house the Eucharist ) being in the main church again, it is good to review when we should genuflect and when we should bow.
Genuflect…
…when you enter the church and before you leave. Most of the time this means before entering the pew before Mass and when you leave the pew at the end of Mass, and
…when you cross in front of the tabernacle.
Bow…
… during Mass when you approach the altar to minister (read or distribute Holy Communion).
You don’t have to genuflect when you leave the pew during Mass to receive Holy Communion or to minister.
Parish Office will be closed on
Thanksgiving Day and the Friday
after Thanksgiving.

Father, where are the directories?
Don’t worry, they are coming. We needed to wait in order
to add photos from our centennial celebration.
Many thanks to all who helped out with our centennial Mass last
Saturday. It was a beautiful celebration of the 100th birthday of our church! Special thanks to our decorating team and youth
choir!
