BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST JUNE 3, 2018
“COME HOLY GHOST”
We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our St. Julia Parishioners who received the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation on Monday, May 21, 2018
at St. Jude the Apostle Church: Abigail Elizabeth Allen
Michael Anthony Breisinger Ava Agnes Gebhardt
Jessica Catherine Kibbe Veronica Elizabeth of Hungary Kibbe
Edwin Jean-Baptiste Murphey Ethan Francis Regal
Sarah Mary Till
May you be guided by the Holy Spirit and may the Grace of God be with you now and always.
ROSARY SOCIETY DINNER— will be held at Joe Roots Restaurant on Thurs., June 7, 5:30 p.m. All parishioners are invited to attend. Everyone will order off the menu. It’s a great way to get to know your fellow parishioners. Please call Peg Westhoff for reservations 833-6878.
FAMILY PERSPECTIVE—One gets the impression there was always a lot of sharing, discussion and learning during the many meals Jesus and the disciples ate together. How does this compare to the meals in your home? Today’s gospel challenges us to make our meals more
than physical functions and more a time for sharing.
CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL— Our theme this year is United in Service. Our Parish CSA goal is $28,864. So far we have collected $20,295. For those who have not had an opportunity to consider a pledge, it is not too late. Remember that no gift or pledge is too
small. Please help by donating today. All funds raised over and above our Diocesan goal, stay in our parish for our own special needs and projects.
