SJD Women’s Retreat Ladies: Are you aware that St. Juan Diego’s women’s retreat is coming up in February? The dates are Feb. 7th – 9th at Our Lady of Peace Retreat house. Our theme this year is The Luminous Mysteries: Using the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary as a guide for strengthening discipleship and community. St. Paul tells us, “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as

lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15) I would like to invite all of you to come with us this year. Join us and be inspired. Join us and have a ball. Join us and enrich relationships. St. Juan Diego Knights of Columbus

Once again the St. Juan Diego Knights of Columbus Council 15729 will be selling and delivering Christmas trees this season. The combined sale will serve both St. Pius X, and St. Juan Diego parishes. Nobles and Grand Firs will be available in 6’ to 8’ heights and $60 to $74 price ranges. The Knights will deliver for free. There is a $15 tree setup fee for those who need this.

Order Forms will be located and available in the Parish Office starting this weekend. Tree delivery dates will include: Friday Nov. 29th after 12 Noon, Saturdays December 7th and 14th starting at 9:00 AM. Order Forms will be picked up each Thursday afternoon from the parish office by the KOC Tree Coordinator. Payment: Check or credit cards are accepted. Please leave the completed check with your order form at the Parish Office. For those paying with credit/debit cards, please leave a phone number on the Order Form and the KOC Tree Coordinator will call you for this information in confidence. Adapted Liturgy You are invited on December 22 to the St. Pius X Adapted Liturgy, a shorter Mass that celebrates the lives and gifts of all people, including those with physical and developmental disabilities and illnesses. Every effort is made to accommodate the inclusion and participation of each person. This neurodiverse liturgy is an opportunity for anyone and everyone, a place for those with special needs, both seen and unseen, to celebrate and participate in the Mass as they are able. The church is accessible for wheelchairs, and listening devices are available. The Adapted Liturgy is offered the 4th Sunday of nearly every month at 2:45 pm at St. Pius X, 1280 NW Saltzman Rd, Portland, OR; call 503-644-5264 for more information.
