The Buzz

Tuition Transfer Grant Program

Holy Family Catholic School Offers $1,500 off of Tuition to Transfer Students Holy Family Catholic School is pleased to offer a Tuition Transfer Grant to any parishioner who

transfers their child into grades 1-7 from any private*, public, charter or home school. This two-year grant, $1,000 in year one and $500 in year two, will be applied to offset the current school

tuition.

The Influence of Catholic Education on the Life of a Child

Public schools cannot compare with the educational environment we provide at Holy Family Catholic School. Our students are well prepared by our academic program. We consistently receive positive feedback from both Montini Catholic High School and Immaculate Conception College Prep on how well our students perform. At Holy Family, special subjects like Technology, Art, Music, PE, and Spanish, and extracurricular activities including athletics, choir, chess, engineering, and guitar enrich the students’ academic experience. Our dedicated teachers, Resource Specialist, instructional assistants, Social Worker, and Interventionist coordinate efforts to meet the individual needs of all students. Furthermore, with plans to create an integrated library and technology lab, and expand the Spanish language program, HFCS is ready to help your child meet the challenges of the future. However, what really sets HFCS apart is our Catholic culture. In the Diocese of Joliet, our motto is: We Teach More! We strive to help our students see all that is true, good, and beautiful in the world and help them grow in their personal relationships with Jesus. In so doing, we further the mission of the Church to develop modern day Disciples of Christ. At HFCS, students realize they belong to something bigger. They begin to see how they can change the world. Holy Family School, Faith—Family—Future!

For more information and a tour, please call our Principal, Linda Kelly, at 630-766-0116.

*Students transferring from another Catholic school within the Dioceses of Joliet, Peoria, Rockford, Springfield and the Archdiocese of Chicago are not eligible.

Seeking HFCS Parents and St. Charles Borromeo and St. Joseph Parishioners for the HFCS Leadership Council

The school administration is looking for individuals who are dedicated to the future vitality of Holy Family Catholic School to join a new Leadership Council. The main function of the Council will be to review the school’s mission and vision, and develop a strategic plan for the next 5 years. Serving on the Council does not require any specific background or skill set. A full Council requires 5 to 9 members and meetings will convene monthly. Being part of the Leadership Council can be a personally fulfilling experience. It is a wonderful way to share your gifts and talents while furthering the Church’s mission for its schools. All those who are interested are asked to call or email Mrs. Kelly, the school principal, at 630-766-0116 or [email protected]. The final selection of Leadership Council members will be made by Father Josh and Father Luis.
