WELCOME VISITORS We are happy to have you join us today and every

Sunday. You enrich our Masses by your presence and your participation. We hope that you find our liturgies here to be an inspiring celebration of our faith.

Please come back again…and often.

Happy Trinity Sunday! This Sunday we give thanks and praise to God for the ordination to the Diaconate of our own Harold Escarcega. He is to be ordained a deacon this Sunday morning at St. Thomas the Apostle. Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his last year of seminary as a transitional deacon at St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver. He will be ordained a priest next June! Congratulations Harold! On this first Sunday after the Easter season the Church celebrates Trinity Sunday. We dive into the mystery of the Holy Trinity, three distinct persons, One God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I always like to remind people that we speak of God as three persons because it is persons who live in communion. We don’t speak of God as three individuals because the term “individual” does not have the same connotation of living in communion as “person” does. God reveals Himself to us as a relationship of love. For us made in the image and likeness of God, we are meant to live in a similar manner, living in relationship with our fellow man, mirroring the Triune God. This week we also welcome two seminarians who will be joining us for the summer. They are Abraham Davalos and Daniel Carlisi. Abraham has been at St. John Vianney seminary in Denver for four years while Daniel will be beginning his first year there in the fall. We look forward to having them help serve liturgies and be present in the parish this summer. Have a great week and know of my prayers! In Christ, Fr. Connealy

FROM OUR Pastor

FEAST OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY MAY 30, 2021

Page 5: St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish 3801 E. Greenway Road

P. Connealy
