St Giles New York Family Course
New York is the most exciting city in the world! New York’s influence on the world is felt in so many ways, including fashion, media, art, technology, business, finance, education, shopping, entertainment and the theatre-world. New York is home to many of the world’s most famous and distinctive landmarks including the symbolic Statue of Liberty, the towering Empire State Building, the beautiful Chrysler building and the vast Central Park right in the heart of Manhattan. Visitors flock to the city in summer to sample the beautiful weather and experience all this great city has to offer.
Course Details 1. Junior Language levels: 5 (A1 Elementary to C1 advanced) 2. Adult Language Levels: 7 (A1 Beginner* to C2 Advanced) *Beginner
student start date is 31st July only. 3. Number of weekly lessons: 20 per week (50 minute lessons). 4. Class size maximum: 15 in junior classes and 12 in adult classes. 5. Junior course content: Comprehensive St Giles theme-based syllabus
focusing on language development, project work and communicative competence.
6. Adult course content: Modern course-book based lessons in General English classes. It is also possible to upgrade to business or executive courses studying at the St Giles New York City Platinum Centre for an additional fee.
7. Certificate: An end of course certificate is presented to all students who have taken part in the programme.

3. Capacity: The course is limited to a maximum of 45 children and their adult family members. There must be a minimum of one child (7-15 years) and one adult per Family Course booking and they must be related or the adult must be the guardian of the child.

St Giles New York Family Course
Accommodation Accommodation for families is provided in home-stay accommodation. Alternatively, hotel accommodation can be arranged for an additional fee and subject to availability. If required, the school can provide details of agencies which can offer self-catering accommodation in apartments.
Classes and Meals Classes take place in St Giles New York City for adult students. The children’s lesson take place a short walk away. Lunch can be provided on weekdays; breakfast and dinner can be provided, if desired, as part of the accommodation package, depending on the accommodation package booked.
Activities & Excursions The Family Course package includes three afternoon activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is also one full-day excursion each week on Saturdays. Activities and excursions may include: bowling, trips to local attractions, sports in a local park, walking tours of New York and visits to New York’s Natural History Museum and the Empire State Building.
