PENTECOST SUNDAY
Beginning Monday, Fr. Paul is away from the parish office and returning on Wednesday June 21st. The parish office will be open from 9am-12noon only during his absence, and closed Mon. June 19th.
We are happy to have Rev. Joseph Machaj celebrate with us for the next two weekends. Our hospital chaplain Rev. Jean-Marie Beaublanc will celebrate our weekday masses.
St. Gertrude’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament THURSDAY, JULY 6th
Golf & dinner $85/pp; dinner only $50/pp. Registration forms and tickets are available in the parish hall each weekend or through the parish office.
SPECIAL PRIZE DRAW -Tickets $10.00 each or 3/$20. We are holding a draw for a $500.00 pre-paid VISA card. Only 300 tickets will be sold. Your St. Gertrude’s - St. Vincent de Paul Society is looking for volunteer help to continue serving the needy in our parish. MISSION PRIEST Each year the Archdiocese arranges for our parishes to be visited by a Missionary Priest. We are pleased to announce that on the weekend of July 1st/2nd Fr. Emmanuel Walakira from Uganda East Africa will speak to us. We will take up a special collection for his mission the following weekend and envelopes for this will be available.

2018, Fr. Paul will lead a group of youth on this wonderful 10 day ministry pilgrimage throughout Canada and the United States. MARYGROVE CAMP FOR GIRLS
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul operates
Marygrove Camp for less fortunate girls ages 5 - 13.
Over 1,100 children attended camp last summer.
Our primary source of funding for this Special Work
of the Society is the annual camp collection held in
the parishes throughout the Archdiocese.
The annual collection for Marygrove Camp will be
on June 10th
and June 11th
.

Children’s Liturgy at the 11am Mass June 4th is our last Children's Liturgy before the Summer break. The Children's Liturgy will start up again on Sept. 10th , the first Sunday after Labour Day. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING SEMINAR AT ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER Natural family planning (NFP) is fertility awareness, which is simply knowledge of a couple’s fertility.
