    The use of the Compound iquor of Tartar.This Liquor may be used safely against al l manner of obstructi-ons

    of the body, and it is a SPECIFICUM gainst the Pox. But i ts part icularoperations are against the SCIATICA, GOUT n the hands' CH0LT,ICK' I,LIACPASSION, and against the torrnents and gripings in the Belly.

    The green oi l of Vi tr io l .Take of VITRIOL 2 pound, put it in an Urinal in a balny for a month'

    let it be dissolved into a transparent green Liquorr its combustibleSulphur remaineth in the bottom, decant the Liquor from the phlegme'rectifie it in a ba1ny, then you have the purging green oil wherewithyou may cure the Falling-siclcness.
