Dear Friends,
We did it! Congratulations on a successful ADA campaign.
At the writing of this, April 22nd, it appears we have come
within earshot of the goal—and I am confident we shall make
it by the time this bulletin appears in print. A big thank you
to all who have donated thus far. The last time that St. An-
thony made the ADA goal was in 2005. This is something to
be proud of. If you have not given yet, there is still time to be
part of something historic. I want to especially commend
Todd Bordenaro for his leadership in this appeal effort. He
and his team went the extra mile and worked overtime in
generating a positive approach to our appeal effort.
May is the month dedicated to our lady, May stands for
Mary. May crowning will be at 8:30am Mass with the Altar
& Rosary Society. Please remember to pray the rosary daily,
especially during this month. Pray individually—-and ideally
as a family. The family that prays together, stays together.
Thanks, and God bless you all.

What a beautiful day it was last Sunday, with 82 children receiving their
First Holy Communion! Thank you to all of the parents who entrust the
teachers and catechists to help you in forming your children in our faith. I
have to say, I love being a Catholic! I want to be a Catholic, and I choose
to be a Catholic. I hope you love it too! I hope you look forward to Mass
every week, and regularly think about what the Sacraments have meant in
your life. Continue to pray for the young people of the parish as the
sophomores receive their Confirmation on May 13th. Bishop Pates will be
here to celebrate the Confirmation Mass at 7:00 pm. All are invited, come
and celebrate with our teens.
The final Youth Group will be held on May 20th, in the Lower
Church. We will have food and fellowship, as well as making plans for
the summer and fall. Please join us, all high schoolers!
Registration for the fall Parish Religious Education program will begin
soon. Watch and listen for details soon. Please call or email if you have
any questions.
Mark you calendars for Totus Tuus, July 19th-24th. More information to
come.
God's blessings to you all,
