READINGS FOR THE WEEK

Second Collection

This weekend the second collection is for World Mis-sion Sunday. Please give generously.

Scriptural Reflections on Stewardship

Through incessant prayer, we open ourselves more fully to understanding God’s will. Through faith in

the power of prayer, we experience God’s love and assis-tance. Our Christian life is nourished by the scriptures we read and by our received tradition.

Every Tuesday, the Blessed Sacrament is ex-

posed in the church from 3 to 4 p.m. It is an hour of prayer for the priests, religious men and women and an in-crease of vocations to the priesthood and the religious life of the Church. We invite you to come and spend time with the Lord for these intentions and for your personal requests. Holy Hour closes with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Coro Estamos reorganizando nuestro coro, Si te gusta cantar, o sabes tocar algun instrumento, nuestro coro te necisita. Por favor acercate a la Sra. Rosa para más información. Recuerda, cantar es orar dos veces.

Evangelization Corner…… Reflecting On The Gospel - Jesus tells his Apostles a parable about how important it is to pray: A woman goes to a judge to ask for a fair decision in a matter. The judge, however, respects no one and has no fear of God; he will not grant the woman her request. Again and again, the woman goes to the judge - we might say she ‘pressures’ him. Finally, the judge says she can have the things the way she wants them.

Sharing Ideas - What are things we do to make strong and keep strong the special friendships in our lives?

Can he do some of these same things to keep our relationships with God strong?
