Message from Fr. Wagner regarding the Parish Offertory Program:

This weekend I will introduce this year’s offertory program for St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. It has been several years since our last effort, and while the economic climate certainly is not ideal for such an appeal, it is an important reminder to each of us of our duty to contribute to the mission of the local Church in thanksgiving to God. After hearing my homily and reviewing the materials, I ask that you prayerfully consider making a commitment to an offertory donation for the coming year. This has been a financially difficult year for us as a parish, just as it has been a difficult year for so many of you. All that I ask is that you pray over this decision and ask the Lord for wisdom in deciding how to respond.

Please pick up a blue commitment card this weekend from one of the church entrances. Complete the card and return it to the parish next week in the designated box, mail it in the provided return envelope, or visit Faith Direct, our online giving website, at www.faithdirect.net and use our parish code VA310 to enroll and/or update your offertory contribution.

Thank you for your continued support of the parish.
