Course Syllabus Course title: ST 701 Christ Course description: A systematic study of the historical unfolding of God’s plan and promises of redemption through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Course credit: 3 credits Course instructor: Greg Nichols was ordained as a pastor in 1978. He is a graduate and former professor of Trinity Ministerial Academy, Montville, NJ. He is the author of Covenant Theology: A Reformed and Baptistic Perspective (Solid Ground Books, 2011). He is a pastor of Grace Immanuel Reformed Baptist Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Greg and his wife Ginger have 4 children. Course requirements: The student must satisfactorily complete the following course requirements: (1) Lectures The student must listen to all 30 lectures by Greg Nichols on the doctrine of Christ either live or via audio/video format. (2) Reading The student must read completely the assigned reading in the following textbooks according to the reading schedule given below: Required Textbooks Louis Berkhof, Systematic Theology (Eerdmans, 1941). (3) Exams

After completing the lectures through section two (from course introduction through the study of the God’s covenants), the student should take the midterm exam, which is worth 100 points and accounts for 45% of the student’s final grade. Then after completing the remaining lectures, the student should take the final exam, which is also worth 100 points and accounts for 45% of the student’s grade. A “study guide,” which identifies content in the lectures that the student must know for the exams, is available on Virtual Campus. Grading evaluation:

Lectures & Reading = 10% / Midterm exam = 45% / Final exam = 45%
