Oración a San Miguel Arcángel Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Adult Bible Study
St. John the Evangelist Church in Streamwood is hosting an Adult Bible Study on the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians. The study is a part of The Great Adventure series published by Ascension Press. They meet on Tuesdays evenings from 7-9 PM in the school annex. Starting date is September 11th and will continue for eleven sessions. The study includes home reading, discussion, and video presentations. First Corinthians challenges us to look deep into the mysteries of the Eucharist, the Resurrection, and the love we have for God and each other. St. Paul’s words speak to us as powerfully today as they did 2,000 years ago to the Church at Corinth. More detailed information regarding these sessions may be found on their parish website www.mystjohns.org by clicking on Ministries and then Education. A registration form and schedule may be obtained on the website.

Labor was the first price, the original purchase-money that was paid for all things.
It was not by gold or by silver, but by labor, that all wealth of the world was originally purchased.
