KING SAUD CONTINUTED HIS FATHER’S LEGACY.

King Saud

He established the council of ministers, and the ministries of health & education.

During King Saud time Saudi Arabia became one of the five founding members of the OPEC

In 1962, King Saud sponsored an international Islamic conference

He established many schools. In 1957 King Saud University, opened in Riyadh

King Faisal He was involved in politics for 40 years, he gain experience by taking governmental and administrative responsibility.

He led the kingdoms delegation to the London conference. He also represented the king by signing the UN charter in San Francisco.

He was appointed as king’s deputy in Hijaz and the president for Shura council. He was also appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

King Faisal was also appointed as a crown prince and prime minister’s deputy premier. King Faisal had a strong Islamic heritage , wisdom, and vision.

He developed a five-year plan mainly to modernize the infrastructure of the country, this include modernizing education, utilities, transportation and military.

The first television broadcast aired during his reign. After King Faisal’s death, his sons formed the king Faisal foundation now one of the largest philanthropic foundation in the world.

King Khalid represented

Saudi Arabia at United Nation.

He continued the process of

modernization. In 1975 he

introduced the second five-year plan.

King Faisal and Ummul Qura Universities

were established.

King Khalid paid special

attention to the Palestinian cause and supported

Islamic solidarity.

He received the King Faisal

International prize for Service

to Islam.

Appointed Minister of the Interior and

he was also appointed as a

King Fahad was given the title:

custodian of the two holy mosque.

He continued developing a

modern infrastructure of roads, airports

factories, hospital, schools and

universities.

He also provided help to countries in

need.

while developing Saudi Arabia. One of the first and the

greatest accomplishments was the massive expansion of the two holy mosque

in Makkah Madinah. King

humanitarian issues.
