Today 7/6 & 7/7 is our monthly food drive.
Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the Loaves and Fishes box located at the
main entrance of the Church. This food is taken to the Food Pantry at Blessed Sacrament Church and
distributed to the needy in our community. If you see anyone removing items from the Loaves and
Fishes box please bring it to the attention of an Usher or the Sacristan.

Saint Anthony Cancer Ministry Update:
The group will gather on Wednesday, July 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Ministry Center lo-
cated at 215 NE 10 Avenue. We will continue with the topic of stress and the different ways
we can reduce it.

Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)
Sunday sessions will resume in September. Registration and inquiries may be
directed to the PREP Office 954-467-7749 or [email protected].
There are opportunities for faith formation for boys and girls in 1 st level through
high school. Preparation of First Reconciliation (confession/penance), First
Eucharist (Holy Communion) and Confirmation involve a two year period of
preparation.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
If you or someone you know has expressed an interest in the process for adults
as they prepare for reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and
First Communion, please suggest calling the parish office 954-463-4614 or the
religious ed office 954-467-7749 for details. There will be informal gatherings in
June and August. The formal process will begin in September. All questions are
welcome!
Volunteer Opportunities
Adults who feel a call to volunteer in the parish activities can respond by
contacting the parish office 954-463-4614. There are needs and opportunities to
build and support a variety of ways to put faith into action. Perhaps becoming
involved in the weekend Masses? Perhaps becoming a volunteer in PREP or
Youth Ministry? Perhaps singing in the choir? Perhaps assisting in the Homeless
Ministry? All it takes is one phone call to inquiry!!!!
Tuesday Scripture
The Tuesday morning Scripture Study sessions are canceled for the summer.
We look forward to seeing on Tuesday, September 3rd. Have a safe and
relaxing summer.
