Presently 900 TPD DRl, 0.20 MTPA Steel and 40 MW Power Plant (20 MW AFBC + 20MW WHRB) is commissioned and is in operation.

We had applied for validity extension of Environmental Glearance for our KamandaSteel Plant vide letters nos.RMUKSP-331/29113-14 dated 30.05.2013 and RMUKSP-331153113-14 dated 10.07.2013 respectively. As per MOEF circular dated 29.04.2015validity of Environmental Clearance shall be 7 year in place of 5 year. MOEF &CCextended validity of Environmental clearance upto 11.12.2015.

As per directions in MOEFs letter dated 06.08.2015, we are applying to MOEF&CC,New Delhi for validity extension of Environmental Clearance for the period beyond2015.

During 2012-15 several developments took place which adversely affected the progressof the project as follows:

1. Roadblocks in project due to issues in linked coal mine as follows:

a. Uncertainties in the coal linkage which commenced in 2012-13 due to lMG,Hon'ble Supreme Court case, etc

b. State Govt. did not sign Mining Lease of linked mine due to issues raised aboutthe sanctity of allocation of Coal Mines by the Hon'ble Supreme Gourt.

c. Financial issues raised by the Bankers due to non-availability of coal mininglease.

d. Cancellation of Coal mine allotted for supplying coal to this Project by the Hon'bleSupreme Court of India in 2014.

e. Although Environmental Clearance was in advanced stage, but was stalled dueto the cancellation of coal mines

f. Forest Clearance for the linked coal mine had been applied for and was inprocess, which again got stalled due to coal blocks cancellation

g. Company has not been able to win a coal block in bidding process till now.

2. Financial crunch due to uncertainty in steel & power sector in view of the cancellationof all coal mines.

3. Fluctuation in world wide steel market

4. Acquisition of land did not occur on time and still 22.8 acres acquisition is ongoing.The balance land purchase and acquisition has been accomplished in 03.07.2015 .
