Camp

The N.S.S. unit of our college organized a BLOOD DONATION

CAMP in association with Jivan Jyoti Blood Bank Nagpur on

07/09/2018. During the camp about 120+ students & staff donated

blood. All the donors were given certificates of appreciation &

donation cards.

Swachha Bharat

Abhiyan

Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan was carried out on 05/09/2018 to 15-09-

2018 in KDKCE premises with the motto that cleanliness starts at

home. Later, the NSS team was divided into 6 groups & each

group covered the different areas of Nandanvan Zone. The main

aim of this event was to take cleanliness drive of college campus

& to make the students are aware about “Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan.

Around 150 students were present.

Competition on

Green

Environment

NSS unit of KDKCE organized an event “Poster Competition on

Green Environment” on 15/09/2018 in KDK College of

Engineering campus on the occasion of ‘Engineer’s Day.

This is an initiative of NSS cell to enhance the student’s view

regarding Environment in the form of poster competition. Many of

the students had participated in it and so their affection towards the

nature.

6 15/09/2018 Share & Care

NSS unit of KDKCE organized an event “Share & Care” for rising

fund for charity on 15/09/2018 in KDK College of Engineering

campus. The main aim of this event was to economically and

financially support the underprivileged students of Night School at

Jawahar Night School, Sitabuldi Nagpur on the birth anniversary

of Sir Vishvesvarya (Engineer’s Day). On this occasion the

management team of Jawahar Education Society Er.Amitabhji

Pawde, Bhonde Sir, Head Mistress Smt. B.R. Bhadange with other

school teachers and student were present.

Day

The N.S.S. unit of our college organized NSS Installation

programme on 24/09/2018 at 3:30 pm at Auditorium Hall,

KDKCE, Nagpur. This event marked the felicitation of newly

on Student

Psychology

The N.S.S. unit of our college organized an interactive session

with psychologist Ms.Barakha Nayak who is also a Founder of

‘MANASPARSHA’ organization on the occasion of NSS day on

dated 24/09/2018.The psychologist had guided the students for

“Social Anxiety”. Along with the interaction, students had enjoyed

lots of fun, activities by Ms. Barakha Nayak and the team. The

Drug Awareness

Programme-“Say

NO to Drug”

The street play on drug addiction of NSS volunteers was

organized at KDK college of Engineering on 1 Oct 2018. The

best way to convey the truth about DRUG ADDICTION is

through the act. By performing the act volunteers passed

message to avoid use of drug. A person who is dependent on

Narcotic drug, leading to an addiction, where somebody is

psychologically or mentally dependent on a drug liable to

have a damaging psychological or psychological effect.

FIRE AND SAFETY

AWARENESS CAMP NSS unit organized an event Fire and Safety Awareness

camp, in association with Department of Electronics

Engineering, KDKCE. Fire safety is often a component

of building safety. Fire safety is the set of practices

intended to reduce the destruction caused by fire. Fire

safety measures include those that are planned during

the construction of a building or implemented in

structures that are already standing, and those that are

taught to occupants of the building. Fire safety policies

apply at the construction of a building and throughout its

operating life. Fire safety is also an objective

of electrical codes to prevent overheating of wiring or

equipment, and to protect from ignition by electrical

faults.

funds for charity. The idea behind this was to make

students aware about their social responsibilities and

duties. This event started with the new tradition of

charity to inspire youth. Clothes and money which were

collected during share and care week were donated to

PROGRAM

To celebrate the women’s day, The NSS team of

KDKCE in association with Women development Cell,

KDKCE organized second edition of #iamenough,

daylong self defense camp. The training was given to

the students by trained professionals of SHIVSHAKTI

Foundation, Nagpur. The event was organized to teach

the girls self-defense skills by the trained professionals.

The event was inaugurated by Dr.D.P.Singh (Principal),

Dr.A.M.Badar (Vice Principal), Dr. A. P. Fartode,

The NSS unit of K. D. K. C. E. had actively

coordinated with Engineering India to make their

socio-technical event "ABHYUDAYA 16" a grand

success. This strengthens the bond between the

bodies working throughout the vidarbha region such

as the "Engineering India".

others as many emotions were gushing through
