We like to make clothes expressing the values we hold in everyday life: the love for beautiful things and kindness.
This values are reflected on the aesthetics of our garments and also throughout theproduction process.
Our approach to the design, sourcing and manufacture of clothes, maximizes benefits to people and communities, while minimizes impact on the environment.
Cus is a project currently developed inBarcelona.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED
All fabrics are selected according anddemostrating an ongoing commitent to reduce
environmental impact. Most of the fabrics we useare made in Europe (80%) and the rest in Turkey
(20%). This proxinity is essntial to achieve asmuch traceability as possible of the supply chain(fibre cultivation, spinning, weaving, and dyeing)and as well as to ensure that the fabric has been
produce respecting labour rights.
CONSCIOUSLY PRODUCED
We are about the social circumstances ofthe people who make our garments. All ourcollections are produced in Barcelona with
manufacturers that meet legal and social criteriaestablished by the European Union. Our values
go hand in hand with high qualitylocal-made production.
DELICATELY DESIGNED
We like to make clothes moved by beauty.Harmonies and disharmonies or unusualness
and hidden details make us come up withaesthetically pleasant collections. Wearing a Cusgarment, having knowledge of how, where and by
whom it has been made, creates an importantconnection to it.

100% certified organic cotton (made in Portugal)100% certified social production (made in Spain)
We make clothes caring about the people involved and preserving our environment
Organiccertified by CUSLicense no 0000
As a brand, we like to grow walking further and deepening on our everyday values: the love for beautiful things and a conscious production.
We have spent our days looking for fine sustainable fabrics and a social and responsible way of turning them into easy and cool garments.
We travelled down from Barcelona to the South of Spain and managed to find the way to produce Cus viva with a social insertion company. This means that our production process is giving a second chance to people that are at risk of social exclusion. Plus, it is a GOTS certified manufacturing process. We also found organic fabrics made in Europe (Portugal and Czech Republic), that are also produced under GOTS standards.
So finally, we came up with fully certified garments that are made caring about the people involved and preserving our environment. We are really happy and proud of it.
We want to do more of what makes us happy!

TENCEL
Lenzing Tencel fibre comes from the pulp of eucalytus trees. These are grown on sustainable farms FSC certified.
The wood pulp is processed in a non-toxic solution that is recovered and re-used. The use of energy and water is minimal.
The tencel used is for this collection is made in Spain, following the Austrian principles from the Lenzing group. The fabric and the dyeing process hold the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, which certifies that no heavy metal dyes such as chromium and copper have been used.
ORGANIC COTTON
Organic cotton grows without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. This kind of farming strives for a balance with nature, contributing to a biological diverse agriculture. The organic cotton used for this collection comes from Portugal and Czech Republic. They are both GOTS certified.
ORGANIC WOOL
This wool comes from sheep that have been grown and fed without fertilizers or pesticides in Uruguay.
It is spinned in Germany and dyed in Austria.
Sheep have not been subjected to muesling practices.
RECYCLED WOOL
The manufacture of this wool begins by collecting pre-consumer waste of yarns and fabrics from Italy and other European countries.
This is converted back into a new fibre using a mechanical process, then spun into yarns, which finally are woven and become recycled wool.
This recycled wool is made in Italy.
