By Bus Lots of buses go to and through Hammersmith. We’re just 2 minutes from Hammersmith Broadway Bus Station.

Audio Described PerformancesAt an Audio Described Performance a live commentary can be heard through a lightweight headset that describes the facial expressions, gestures, set, props and costumes in the show.

Open Captioned PerformancesAt an Open Captioned Performance, the lines from the play are relayed live on a text box near the stage so they can be viewed by people in the audience.

BSL Interpreted PerformancesA British Sign Language Interpreted Performance is a full production with the addition of a BSL Interpreter who stands on the stage interpreting the show for deaf audiences.

The Lyric is building the UK’s first teaching theatre for the Performing Arts.

In 2010 the Lyric will begin work on a major multi-million pound extension to its building to expand our work with young people.
