From the Desk of...

I hope everyone is none the worse for wear after the winter season! As Canada is celebrating its 150th birthday this year, we at the Centre are planning special activities, starting with Canada Day celebrations. More to come as plans are finalized! The past quarter has been very busy. We’ve added a few new activities – Current Events and Conversational French (which was well attended). Our foot care service continues to be very active. I am happy to see that our membership is continuing to grow and that events offered by our Centre continue to be well attended and enjoyed. The Board of Directors is continuing to work hard on your behalf for the smooth operation of the Gloucester Senior Adults’ Centre. I would again like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who regularly contribute their time and energy to keep the programs of our Centre running smoothly. Carol Nicholson, Board President
