“Spring into Action!” “Spring into Action!” is the theme this month. That means going outside and being active and also taking action with our deeds, not just our words. We want to look for opportunities to be active and fit, enjoy nature, and take action in our community and individually to help other people. Way to Go! Pack 5 wrote more than 30 letters to our troops abroad and overflowed the donation box with “urgent needs” such as food, clothing, and hygienic products donated at the B&G. National Jamboree Day Trip The Occoneechee Council will lead a bus trip to Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia to visit the Jamboree on Friday, July 30, 2010. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will depart Raleigh at 5:00 a.m. and return at 11 p.m. Visitors will have between approximately 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to observe* and visit the 65,000 Scouts and Scouters who comprise the 100th Anniversary’s largest and best display of Boy Scouting in the United States!
