Athletic Hall of FameThis special honor recognizes members of our Spring Grove family who have distinguished themselves as outstanding contributors to athletics at Spring Grove Area High School and possibly beyond.

The Hall of Fame serves to honor student athletes, coaches, and administrators, as well as, longtime and distinctive supporters of the Athletic Department.

Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2022 Athletic Hall of Fame. See the Athletic Department web page at www.sgasd.org/athletics for the Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form.

You are a dedicated Rocket sports fan. You cheer on the athletes at both home and away competitions, stay up to date with the latest scores, and talk up the home team whenever possible. What more can you do to help support the 900+ student-athletes that comprise the 45 teams of the Spring Grove Area Middle and High Schools? Join the Athletic Boosters!

Athletic Booster members staff the concession stands at various home games which raises funds that support the District’s athletic programs. Booster funds help:

• Provide additional training for coaches and players• Sponsor off-season leagues and summer sports camps• Provide volunteer assistance for the sports physicals• Purchase banners honoring high achievement and championships• Support the Rocket Athletic Hall of Fame• Help the student-athletes get varsity jackets and warm-up suits• Award six scholar athletes with college scholarships• Buy necessary equipment that falls outside the parameters of the District budget.

In addition, Booster volunteers often help with sports physicals, Athletic Hall of Fame Induction, and occassional light office work.

Monthly meetings are held at the High School in the evenings. Times and dates are posted on the District website. Stop by anytime... we would love to meet you!

The Spring Grove Music Boosters provide support to all music programs of the Spring Grove Area School District. The boosters provide financial support, scholarships, fundraising opportunities, and volunteers for various aspects of the music program. Volunteers do such things as chaperoning trips, organizing student appreciation events, assisting with fundraising, helping to plan behind the scenes and assist at musical events.

The Spring Grove Music Boosters are dedicated to the continued support of the Spring Grove Area School District music students. We appreciate the support of the dedicated volunteers and welcome others to become involved. We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings, which are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Choral Room of the high school during the school year.
