Let the Bidding Begin!Live Auction RulesThe Live Auction will be held in the KCA gymnasium and begins at 11:00 a.m. To enter a bid, raise your paddle up with the bid number facing toward the auctioneer. A bid will be registered only when formally recognized and called by the auctioneer. Presentation of your catalog and Bid Number will be required at check out during the final purchase of your auction items.
Silent Auction RulesThe silent auction will be open for bidding beginning at 11:00 a.m. We will have five different sec-tions – each will close at a different time. The final tables will close at 4:45 p.m., at which point the highest bidder’s number will be circled.
Each item has a bid sheet listing the item, its minimum bid and the minimum raise. A person desir-ing to bid does so by writing his bidder number and the amount of his bid on the bid sheet. Each bid must be raised by whole dollar increments.
Each bid is to be written on the next available line of the bid sheet. Silent Auction bids will be dis-qualified if the minimum bid and/or raise is not met.
The closing bid circled by an Auction official will constitute the winning bid. All bids are binding. In the event of a dispute, an Auction official will determine the winning bidder or will re-offer and re-sell the item(s) in dispute. The Auction official’s decision will be final.
General Rules &RestrictionsAll bidders must be 18 years of age or older and must have a bidder number. Payment in full is mandatory for all auction items by the end of the event. Cash, checks, PayPal, Discover, Visa and Mastercard will be accepted. American Express is NOT accepted. Make checks payable to The King’s Christian Academy.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No exchanges or refunds are permitted. Please read specifications and limitations carefully.
All items must be removed from the premises on the day of the auction, unless otherwise discussed with an Auction official. Any items remaining after the day of the auction will become the property of KCA.
Dates for services, private dinners and vacation homes, are to be arranged at the mutualconvenience of donor and purchaser. Time periods designated for use of homes, restaurants, mer-chandise certificates, hotels and resorts are not subject to change.
