The Spring Kingfish run is upon us and in full swing as we gear up for the 18th Annual Spring King of the Beach, hosted by the beautiful city of Madeira Beach. Our event has grown through the years, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, past and present board members and our countless sponsors. All of this makes the event one of the largest of its kind in the country.

Once again, we have “amped up” the King of the Beach. Bringing the whole community together with our new Mad Beach Food Fest. We have added over 12 restaurants

to sample from and an arts and crafts section. We have also had several requests from anglers to add a “fun fish” division. So, now you have it ... A new Spanish Mackerel TWT. Come out and witness, what we think to be, the best King Fisherman in the sport compete to be the next King! Will it be you?

The Old Salts are excited to present what is hoped to be the largest and best King of the Beach yet, for our charities, anglers & sponsors. I look forward to seeing all of you there. Until then ... bent rods and screaming drags!
