What's the buzz around certification?
A recent IT salary survey of over 7,000 computerprofessionals co-conducted by TechRepublic and Global
Knowledge found that 42% of respondents intend to obtain anew certification within the next year, and 38% hold at leastone certification that they consider primary already. Perhapsmore telling, 87% indicated that certification is a worthwhile
investment, with a major motivation being that it is aneffective way to keep skills up to date and demonstrate that
accomplishment to employers.Anne Martinez

Handling Objections
I'm interested in advancing my career with a Linux certification. Why should I pursue a SUSE Linux Enterprise certification from Novell instead of a more general certification like CompTIA's Linux+?
Objection
Response
You do not need to choose between our SUSE Linux Enterprise certifications and CompTIA’s Linux+ certification. CompTIA’s Linux+ certification is an introductory Linux certification that helps your customers advance to Novell Certified Linux Professional (CLP)10 and Certified Linux Engineer 10 (CLE) certifications. In fact, Novell even offers introductory Linux training—Course 3064—that will help your students prepare for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.

Handling Objections
I know I need Linux training, but why should I train on SUSE Linux Enterprise instead of Red Hat or some other Linux distribution?
Objection
Response
SUSE Linux Enterprise is one of the most stable and secure Linux network environments available today for any size company—small to enterprise. It is also the only distribution maintained by a one-billion-dollar, worldwide organization with more than 800 engineers and consultants trained on Linux, and a rich history of professional IT training and certification.
