blustery Saturday afternoon in Juluary 1954

leading a dance band and has a way with -- gathered together the towns leading elder citizens

for an afternoon of reminiscing Seventeen people

anniversary Also the anniversary of our

newspaper Our courthouse here a t Mariposa i s

the Stz te Bar of Cal i fornia has investigated

and f inds wetre the olCest courthouse i n the

West There are only twc courthouses any older

Louisiana and the other i s in Iowa So we have
