S.N. Medical College & Hospital, Agra named
after the first lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh,
Bharat Kokila Dr. Sarojni Naidu. It is situated in
the heart of agra, Historical city famous for Taj
Mahal. The S.N. Medical College is one of the
first three Medical College of the Country. It was
started in 1854 in the form of a medical school
for training doctors for Indian Army.
The history of this institute in face runs parallel
with the evolution and development of Medical
Education in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Lt.
Governor SIr James Thomson was the founder of
this school.
Agra is a city in northern India's Uttar Pradesh
state. Its home to the iconic Taj Mahal, a
mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah
Jahan's wife, Mumtaz Mahal (who died in
childbirth in 1631). The imposing main building
features a massive dome and intricately carved
white marble inlaid with precious stones. This is
set behind a reflecting pool inside a courtyard
defined by 4 minarets.
Pharmacy department was established in the
year 1973 for two year diploma course is running
in separate block near central library. The
students admitted through state level pharmacy
entrance exam conducted by U.P. state medical
faculty Lucknow. This department is duly
approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
The aim of this conference is to boost the
awareness amongst the professionals towards
the contemporary challenges and future
opportunities in radio pharmaceuticals and
healthcare. The radio pharmaceuticals have
unique role to play in the diagnosis of incurable
diseases and their modern therapy. In the
current scenario, the market of drugs has
prominent demand for the use of novel
radiopharmaceuticals in numerous critical
illnesses. The thrust on radio pharmaceuticals
need to be address in the way of creating a
common platform for discussion and future plan
of action amongst health professionals. This
conference would provide excellent future ideas
to the budding scientist and young healthcare
professionals working in the field of radio
pharmaceuticals.
