SPORTS REPORT FROM FEBRUARY to MAY 2018

1. Ms Rutuja R Patil of 4th sem E & E br had been selected to participate in the All India

Inter-University Ball Badminton Competitions representing VTU, Belagavi which was

held on 5th to 9th February 2018 at Dravidian University, Kuppam (AP).

participate in the All India Inter-University Taekwondo Competitions representing VTU,

Belagavi which was held on 20th to 22nd February 2018 at Guru Nanak Dev University,

Amritsar, Punjab.

5. Conducted VTU Inter Collegiate FOOT BALL Tournament Men, Belagavi Zone

organized at SGBIT college ground on 20th & 21st February 2018. Rtn. Vilas Badami

member Governing Council SGBIT, Belagavi was the Chief Guest. He addressed the

participants from various Institutes affiliated to VTU, Belagavi to participate Sportively in

the Two days Foot Ball Tournament without accounting for the success or failure in the

game . Games provide you spirit, harmonious environment in the life. He also mentioned

that, the players have to accept the decisions of the umpire.
