Kinder Kicks is a soccer play program for children from Walking to 5 years old which is conducted in a safe and fun environment. Our professionally qualifi ed coaches provide lessons that are tailored to specifi c ages where the emphasis is on learning skills while having fun! Kinder Kicks involves a wide variety of exciting games where students enjoy themselves while learning the basics about soccer. Each activity is designed to improve a young child’s motor skills but more importantly is a good learning experience for all involved.

Parent Participation

One parent/guardian is required to attend each class along with their child. In walking-2 and 2 year-old classes the parent will need to participate with their child (don’t worry - it’s easy!) And in the older 3 and 4 year old classes one parent/guardian should just be on hand (and watch them dribble, pass, shoot and score goals!)

ASA Philosophy

Here at Adventure Sports Academy (ASA) we want our kids to not only learn how to play sports at a high level, but to grow up to be independent, responsible and have respect for others.

All programmes are subject to change without further notice 25

We want to ensure that our kids here at ASA can go on to explore life and it’s opportunities with confi dence. Most importantly, we want to ensure that our sessions are enjoyable and fun so that everyone arrives and leaves with a big smile on their faces.

Class description

Kinderkickz (2-3 years)

At this very young age, a variety of ball games are introduced to encourage movement for those who are just fi nding their feet, while having fun at the same time. We expect children in this age group to improve their balance, co-ordination motor skills and grow in confi dence. A wild range of fun games and activities, for both individual(s) and groups, will be introduced to keep children stimulated and interested.

First Touch (4-7 years)

We begin to introduce higher-level drills and practices as we teach the basic skills necessary to play the game of football: control, passing, dribbling and shooting. Gradually our aim is for your child to develop a better upstanding of roles and responsibilities within a team. These include positional awareness, communication, self-discipline, respect and dealing with winning and losing.

Elites Youth Academy (8+ years)

The Elite Youth Academy is setup to prepare and introduce our young footballers to a more competitive football environment. Regular friendly games and tournaments will support the enjoyment of learning, while continually challenge themselves as they continue to grow and explore the joy and values which football brings to their lives both on and off the pitch.
